TETRIN V1.1
First Release September 6, 1990
100% Public Domain
INSTRUCTIONS:
If you have ever played TETRIS then you already know how to play TETRIN.
The object of the game is to make as many lines as required to advance to
the next level. Each level begins with a preset arrangemnt of blocks (except
for level 1.) An assortment of shapes fall from the top of the screen which
you must rotate an place in the correct position. Using the left and right
arrow keys you can move the shape left and right. Using the up arrow key will
allow you to rotate the shape. Pressing the space bar the shape is released
until it reaches the bottom or a preplaced block or shape. The game ends
when there is no more room for the shapes to fall from. The game is fairly
simple to figure out so play it!
There are also options that allow you to set sounds and starting level.
The default starting options are level 1 and no sound or music. The menus
are simple enough to use that you can figure it out yourself.
As it says above the game is 100% Public Domain, so you can do anything
you want with it. If you have any comments or suggestions send it to the
address listed below.
I've tried the game on 286-12 and 386-25 based machines with EGA and VGA
graphics. Let me know if there are any bugs or problems.

Bugs found in version 1.0
-------------------------
Set Sounds bug -- Could set the type of sound only once
Score bug -- The score displayed was truncated if it exceeded 99,999
Hall Of Fame bug -- The Hall of Fame file remained open if the user did'nt
use the quit option and as a result the next time the
game was started would halt and display a runtime error.
All the above bugs have been found and fixed.
Improvements
------------
The shapes are more rounded, and the border surrounding the title in the
upper left corner has been touched up a little.
